The Busman’s Holiday – Whimsical Stuff

Alice Themed
Taken from a vintage set of Alice in Wonderland playing cards I thought this would make a great sign for a pub near Tower Bridge.
Collage and paint on plywood. Internal size A2. Rustic frame of Canadian Maple flooring recycled from an old engineering mill demolished in Halifax (UK)
Inspired by a now de-sanctified pub in King’s Lynn called the Honest Solicitor.
Image from vintage Alice in Wonderland cards.
Collage and paint on plywood. Image approx A2, frame of reclaimed maple wood.

Watercolour, gouache and digital print.
